That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.

Return Register Packed with Years of Dust in Alamo Heights
Before
AfterThe homeowner noticed dust settling on furniture within two days of wiping it down. When we opened the return register, the filter had been doing what it could, but the return cavity behind it was caked with a gray, felt-like layer of dust and pet dander. We brushed and extracted the entire return drop with a Rotobrush system, then cleaned the supply registers throughout the house. Afterward, the register interior was bare metal, and the homeowner called two weeks later to say the dust-on-furniture problem had stopped.
Dryer Vent Clogged with Lint in a Stone Oak Two-Story
Before
AfterThis Stone Oak family noticed the dryer was taking two cycles to finish a load of towels. The vent run extended from the laundry room on the second floor through the attic and out the roof. When we inspected it, the run was nearly sixty percent blocked with compacted lint and a few bird-nest fragments near the termination. We ran a rotating brush the full length of the vent, then finished with a high-CFM vacuum at both ends. The result: lint cleared to bare duct, airflow restored, and the dryer finished a full load in one cycle.
Supply Registers Coated with Dust and Hair in Olmos Park
Before
AfterTwo golden retrievers, one cat, and a house built in the 1960s. The supply registers in the main living area had a visible ring of dust and hair around the louvers. Inside the ducts, the same mix coated the first few feet of every run. Our techs used a HEPA-filtered vacuum with a brush head on each register, then cleaned the branch runs with a rotating agitation tool. Pet-safe products were used throughout, and we worked around the family’s nap schedule for their little one. After the clean, the registers moved air freely, and the stale, musty smell that had been hanging around the living room was gone.
Construction Debris and Drywall Dust in a New Build near Government Canyon

New construction is a common source of duct contamination in San Antonio. Builders rush the final phase, and drywall dust, sawdust, and even stray nails get inside the duct system before registers are installed. In this home near Government Canyon, we opened the supply trunk to find a fine white layer of drywall dust across the full length, plus a few pieces of scrap lumber. We used an Abatement Technologies HEPA vacuum to extract the debris, then cleaned every branch line with our Rotobrush system. The homeowner had been sneezing in a brand-new house. After we finished, the air felt and smelled different.
Black Dust Around Registers in an Older Home near Woodlawn Lake

Black dust around registers usually comes from candle soot, a neighboring fireplace, or decades of accumulated dirt pulling through the system. In this 1970s home near Woodlawn Lake, the family had lived there for a year and couldn’t figure out where the dark smudges were coming from. We opened the ducts and found the interior coated with a mix of candle soot and fine dust that had built up over decades. The full system clean took about four hours. The soot was removed, the registers wiped down, and the black smudges didn’t return.
Pet Hair and Dander Throughout the System in a Leon Valley Home

Three indoor cats, one dog, and a family with mild allergies. The return plenum in this Leon Valley home was lined with a thick mat of hair that had welded itself to the damp coil area. The mat was pulling air across dampened coils, which trapped more hair, which made the problem worse every month. Our crew hand-removed the dense mat, cleaned the coil with a professional-grade cleaner, and then worked through the full return and supply system. The family’s allergy symptoms improved noticeably within a week, and the system ran quieter than it had in years.
